Haar werken weerspiegelen een veelheid van informatie van hand en hart, die zij vormgeeft door expressief kleurgebruik en gelaagdheid. De toeschouwer blijft nieuwe aspecten ontdekken door de gelaagdheid in de verf.
Een constante inspiratiebron voor haar zijn de jaargetijden, het landschap met zijn bossen en plassen met wuivende grassen langs de oever, contrasten van licht en donker. Haar gevoel voormensen en de wereld om haar heen vormen in haar werken de spiegel van het leven zelf dat fascinerend, kleurrijk en gelaagd is.

‘Art only begins where imitation ends’ (Oscar Wilde)
Her work reflects a multitude of information from hand and heart by means of expressive use of colors and layering. The viewer continues to discover new aspects in the layering of the painting.
A constant source of inspiration for her are the seasons, the landscape with its forests and pools with their waving grasses along the banks, contrasts of light and darkness. Her feeling for the people around her as well as the world around form the mirror of life itself in her artworks which is fascinating, colorful and layered.
Meta André de la Porte attends workshops and is mainly self-taught.
